MAAS International was born from friendship, experience, and a shared love of martial arts.
Founded in 2009 by Grand Master Brian Dossett, its roots stretch back to the 1960s, shaped by decades of teaching, fighting, and building communities across the world.
From the UK to Scandinavia, Europe, Africa, and the United States, MAAS grew not as a federation, but as a network — a place where martial artists could stand together without politics, fees, or pressure. Instructors, students, parents, and professionals all played a part, united by the idea that martial arts are meant to be shared, not controlled.

MAAS is a house with many rooms.
Each club keeps its own space, its own style, and its own identity. There are no yearly membership fees, no hidden costs — only respect, responsibility, and passion. Business stays with the club; the art is shared with the family.
Traditional or modern, amateur or professional — all are welcome. MAAS has helped beginners take their first fight, instructors start their own clubs, and experienced martial artists rediscover their purpose. Many champions in kickboxing, MMA, boxing, and combat sports took their first real steps under the MAAS banner.
People change. They outgrow styles, leave organizations, or choose a new path. MAAS understands that journey because its instructors have lived it. Whether you need guidance, recognition, qualifications, or simply inspiration, MAAS supports without dictating.
Standards matter. Being an instructor carries responsibility, and MAAS takes that seriously. Through courses, seminars, assessments, and open dialogue, instructors are guided to grow — not judged, but supported. Grades, titles, and ranks are respected, earned, and protected with care.
At its core, MAAS is about unity. Sharing knowledge. Reigniting passion. Helping each other grow while walking our own paths
